The Election Day lunch was a success! Thank you to all who came out to enjoy the delicious soups, a sloppy joe, and the spectacular desserts.  The fellowship was a blessing to all.  Thank you to all who shared their special recipes so we could warm up with some soup and then savor a wonderful dessert.

Decorate the Church! The start of our Advent Season is only weeks away. One of the joys of celebrating Christmas is seeing all the decorations. It's been a tradition at Waterville United Methodist Church to decorate our sanctuary the week before the first Sunday in Advent. This year we are looking for help after worship service on Sunday November 25. If you can't help that day, maybe sometime that week? We just need to be ready for worship service Sunday December 2. Check out the signup sheet on the activity bulletin board for where you can use your decorating skills, or maybe your supervising skills. Questions: contact Terry Myers at profmyers@sbcglobal.net or the church office.

A NEW BIBLE STUDY to begin Sunday, December 2.  It will take place in the Fireside Room from 6:45 pm to 7:45 pm.  Drop off your youth and stay for a Bible Study!!  The Study is called  The Unshakeable Truth by Josh and Sean McDowell.  It will focus on the 12 essentials of a relevant faith and how to pass them on to the next generation – A perfect study for parents of youth.  Contact Paul Croy at 419-261-5953 if you are interested in joining.

The Children’s Christmas Program will be held during the Worship Service on Sunday, December 9.

Poinsettia orders being taken.  Envelopes can be found in pews and attendance pads.

There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15:13 (NLT)
